What Are Peptides?

Peptides are small, naturally occurring molecules that your body uses to perform a number of physiological functions.

What is Copper Peptide GHK-Cu?

“GHK” stands for “glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine”, which is another way of saying it is a tripeptide (i.e. a peptide consisting of 3 amino acids). “Cu” stands for Copper, which binds with GHK to form a complex.

What is Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 (MP-17?)

This is a product formed by attaching myristic acid, a fatty acid that’s oil-soluble, with a peptide spanning 5 amino acids in length (Lys-Leu-Ala-Lys-Lys).

It primarily works by stimulating genes associated with keratin production, which signals the cells in your eyebrows and eyelashes to increase the production of hair.(5)

C60 For Hair Loss Reversal & Regrowth

A few studies have successfully used C60 in promoting hair growth. Like a 2009 experiment involving fully bald mice who were shaved clean, mice who were hairless due to their genetic makeup, and human skin cells.

In all three cases, hair growth was consistently observed with fullerene use. Synthesis of new hair follicles took place, hair strands grew, and several new hair strands appeared over 14 days. The authors even went as far as to say it was an alternative way to

“...induce hair growth in the approximately 20% to 50% of individuals in whom minoxidil and finasteride have no effect.” (9)

And a 2010 study out of Japan used a C60 fullerene formula that was applied to the scalp of 16 healthy men twice a day.

“…hair growth rate became 16% faster by as early as after six months. From this result, it was confirmed that fullerene could increase hair growth rate. This was believed to be caused by protecting the cells around the hair follicle from the active oxygen.” (10)

MP-17 For Eyebrow & Eyelash Regrowth

MP-17 is the key ingredient responsible for encouraging the growth of new eyebrows and eyelashes - which helps them look thicker, longer, and more robust in strength.

This is a different mechanism than GHK-Cu, which we use for regrowing hair on the head. MP-17 improves the health of existing follicles in your eyelashes and eyebrows. It won’t help follicles that are already in the process of dying.
